How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
Paper Strip Method
- Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of non-stretch string
- Wrap it snugly around the base of the intended finger
- Mark the point where the strip overlaps and measure the length in millimetres
- Match the measurement to the Circumference column in our chart above
Existing Ring Method
- Select a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably
- Place the ring on a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimetres
- Match the measurement to the Diameter column in our chart above
Sizing Tips
- Best time to measure: Late afternoon or evening, when fingers are at their largest.
- Temperature matters: Fingers expand in warm weather and contract in cold. Measure at a comfortable room temperature.
- Wide bands: Order half a size to one full size larger than usual, as wider bands fit more snugly.
- Between sizes: Always choose the larger size for day-long comfort.
- Prominent knuckles: If your knuckle is significantly wider than the finger base, size for the knuckle and consider a comfort-fit band.

- Wrap it around your wrist just below the wrist bone, where you would normally wear a bracelet
- Note the measurement where the tape or paper overlaps
- Add 1.5 to 2 cm to your wrist measurement for a comfortable fit
Bracelet Fit Guide
- Snug fit: Add 1 to 1.5 cm to your wrist measurement. Ideal for chain bracelets and tennis bracelets.
- Comfortable fit: Add 1.5 to 2 cm (recommended for most styles).
- Relaxed fit: Add 2 to 2.5 cm for a looser drape. Best for charm bracelets and bangles.
- Bangles: Measure the widest part of your hand with your thumb tucked alongside your fingers, then select a bangle with an inner diameter equal to or slightly larger than that measurement.
Necklace Length Guide
The right necklace length frames your neckline and complements your style. Below are the five classic lengths to help you choose with confidence.

Choosing Your Necklace Length
- Neckline matters: V-necklines pair beautifully with longer lengths; crew and high necklines suit chokers and princess lengths.
- Layering: Choose necklaces that differ by at least 5 cm in length (e.g. 40 cm, 45 cm, 55 cm) for a curated layered look.
- Body proportions: Longer necklaces create an elongating effect, while shorter lengths draw the eye upward.
- Pendant size: Larger pendants look best on longer chains; delicate pendants shine at princess length.
